2025, what a year of motion

Poetry, a power chair, therapy, the ocean

Seizures softened by Dr Pepper’s scent

Pop up cards charged pain as rent



A gown of sequins, glittering blue

As bridesmaid for not one friend but two!

Steel of teal, shining in the sun,

Ariel, our vehicle! Benefits… hard-won.

Sparkling jasmine, sizzling salmon

A cozy christmas with clove molass’d gammon…



And thus my pre-frontal cortex

Escaped the vast vortex

Lunar valleys left behind!

Though the Potters are in power now

Bedford falls brings peace of mind



A whisper of hope from dewy stars

There’s a reason we’re human kind

This future, this life, this love, it’s ours!

And there’s still more left to find
